Sahara Technical Regenerator Program (STRP)

 

On June 12, Sahara Foundation announced the launch of the inaugural edition of the Sahara Technical Regenerator Program (STRP) -a partnership between Sahara Foundation, Energy Training Center (IG handle: etc_connect) and Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN; IG handle: reanigeriaofficial).

This program is aimed at promoting youth capacity in Lagos, Edo and Rivers, giving beneficiaries a platform to develop technical skills in the installation and maintenance of meter and solar PV systems, thus; empowering a new cadre of technicians and employers of labour, ensuring a reduction in the unemployment gap, enhancement in energy, combating climate changes and promotion of economic development in Nigeria.

It is to this cause, that Sahara Foundation has opened a call for application. See details below.

– Resident in Edo, Lagos & Rivers ONLY

– Secondary School Certificate

Program Focus Area:

– Meter Installation

– Solar PV Installation
